1. About La Tania

Originally built for the 1992 Winter Olympics centred in Albetville, La Tania has grown into a resort in its own right. Still retaining a village like atmosphere but linking in to the 3 Valleys ski area.

La Tagna (pronounced as La Tania) was the original name for this area but it was renamed La Tania so visitors would pronounce it correctly!

2. The quickest way to Val Thorens

La Tania Gondola then Lanches chair (or drags are even quicker) over to Courchevel side, drag to Saulire Cable Car and up Saulire. Down to Mottaret and Plattiers 1 and 2. Out of the second station, turn left and ski down to Cote Brune chair. At the top keep left and high (give it some on a board to get up this bit) and drop into VT via the black on the left or the red to the right. Don't miss the last rides back!

3. The La Tania pub crawl

Coming soon when we've worked it out...this will involve Le Farcon (pub l'Arbett), Pub le Ski Lodge, Sherpa supermarket, The Bakery, The Pitstop, The Montana, La Taiga, Les Chanterelles and possibly starting at the Roc La Tania and downhill all the way to Chenus, Soupe Coupe and Le Bouc Blanc.
